Breakdown and theft compensation service [Okinawa rental bicycle only]

 The compensation service is only valid if applied for at the same time as renting the bicycle. It is not possible to apply or make additional changes after the rental of the vehicle has started.

 【 Compensation Service Terms and Conditions】

This service provides compensation for the bicycle in case of theft or accident during the rental period.

 Deductible fee: 10,000 yen

 (Example) In case of an accident where the repair cost is 50,000 yen, the customer will pay 10,000 yen and our shop will cover the remaining 40,000 yen.

This service covers accidents and thefts that result in repair costs of more than 10,000 yen. Repair costs for consumable parts such as flat tires are not covered.

Please have the repair done at a nearby bicycle shop or have it repaired at our store at actual cost.

【If you are involved in an accident】

In the event of an accident, please immediately contact the police and also inform our company. (This includes single-vehicle accidents as well.)

Regarding accident repairs, typically, you would be responsible for covering the actual repair costs as listed below. However, if you have subscribed to our service, you will only need to pay a deductible of 10,000yen, and no other repair expenses will be incurred. (Please note that there may be additional charges for the collection and redelivery of the accident-damaged vehicle.)

【In case of theft】

In case of theft, please immediately contact the police, file a theft report, and contact to e-CHARIty.

For the customers who are subscribing to this service, only the excess fee of 10,000 yen will be charged and no other costs will be incurred instead of being charged the full amount to replace the bicycle.

※Compensation is not applicable if the bicycle was stolen without being locked. In case of theft, you will need to submit all the keys that were provided with the rental bicycle, so please make sure to lock it securely and keep the keys safe.

 【Compensation for lost keys】

・In case of key loss, you will be charged 3,000 yen (excluding tax) per key.

 【Other Notes】

※If you park your bicycle for an extended period, please store it in a place where it is protected from rain and wind. During typhoons or heavy rain, electrical components such as the drive unit and switches may malfunction. In such cases, repair costs are not covered by insurance.

※If you violated the Road Traffic act, you will not be eligible for compensation. Please follow signs and adhere to the Road Traffic Act, and avoid using prohibited parking areas.
